p255i Robotic Packing


rml have again proven the success of the p255i range of robotic top load case packers with a another one successfully installed and commissioned for Fonterra. This brings the total number of  rml robotic packers at the Eltham site alone to three and another packer has just been ordered! The p255i platform is an integrated robotic top load case packer combined with our continuous motion RSC carton erector. The model of robot and configuration selected depends on the range of product being packed and to date rml have incorporated 3 models from the range including the high speed flexi-picker. Several of the packers installed feature vision guidence systems to enable random product feeding and orientation into the infeeds. rml are the largest integrator of ABB robotics for case packing in New Zealand.
